Access, Representation, and Opportunity: A Toolkit
HOPA’s vision is that all individuals affected by cancer have a hematology/oncology pharmacist as an integral member of their care team. To help realize this vision, HOPA’s mission is to support pharmacy practitioners and promote and advance hematology/oncology pharmacy to optimize the care of individuals affected by cancer.
Resources Curated by Pharmacists for Pharmacists
Recognizing our role in addressing and dismantling systems of inequity, injustice, and exclusion in our healthcare systems, the DEI Task Force (2021-2022) and DEI Committee (2022-2023) developed this toolkit to provide every HOPA member the resources to increase awareness, and develop and instill people-first principles in each member’s personal and professional environment.
Today, the HOPA ARO Advisory Group manages the toolkit. We recognize each person’s journey is unique, but we hope that these resources will be invaluable in your personal and professional development.
