LeAnn B. Norris, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, BCOP, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in Columbia, SC. For 10 years, she practiced as the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the WJB Dorn VA Hospital outpatient chemotherapy clinic. She was also a founding member of the hospital’s Palliative Care team as the clinical pharmacy specialist. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Norris teaches courses in oncology pharmacotherapy, pain management, and coordinates an elective course in medication safety management. She has multiple book chapters and publications and has spoken at local, regional, national, and international pharmacy meetings. In 2010, she was the recipient of HOPA’s New Practitioner Award.

She earned her PharmD from the University of South Carolina. She completed an oncology pharmacy residency at Cone Health’s Regional Cancer Center in Greensboro, NC and is board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Oncology. Dr. Norris has been a member of HOPA since 2005 and has been involved in multiple committees including the BCOP Oversight Committee, Session Proposal Review, and the Education and Program committee. Her research interests include supportive care, hospice/palliative care issues, and medication safety.
