Alexandra Shillingburg is a Bone Marrow Transplantation Pharmacist Clinical Coordinator at the Levine Cancer Institute through the Carolinas Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. Before that, Alex was the director of Stem Cell Collection and Apheresis Program and the Alexander B. Osoborn Hematopoietic Malignancy and Transplantation Program at the West Virginia University Cancer Institute. She has been cited in many journals with topics focusing around hematology, oncology, clinical trials, pathology, and pediatrics. She has also presented on many state, regional, and national sessions with the most recent one being Cancer and Clots: New Oral Anticoagulants in Cancer Patients at the 2nd Annual Tenessee
Oncology Pharmacists’ Association. Alex has been a noted innovator and leader in developing HCT pharmacy programs from the beginning of her career.
