Dr. Buie has made multiple contributions to the medical literature and routinely provides continuing education to pharmacists in a variety of settings.
Larry W. Buie, PharmD, BCOP, FCCP, FASHP is a Principal Medical Value Liaison with Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. Prior to the move to industry, Dr. Buie worked in direct patient care as a clinical pharmacy specialist in leukemia, clinical pharmacy practice manager, and a PGY2 oncology residency program director at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Dr. Buie has made many contributions to medical literature and routinely provided continuing education to pharmacists in a variety of settings. Dr. Buie served on the HOPA Board of Directors from 2017-2023 and as HOPA President 2021-2022. He has been a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist since 2008 and is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Dr. Buie received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, NC in 2005. He completed both his PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Buie also completed an academic oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
