A Fellow of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (FHOPA) recognizes individuals who have distinguished accomplishments, and successes in hematology/oncology pharmacy. This prestigious status is awarded to those who demonstrate a commitment to patient care and advocacy.

Who can Nominate?
Full HOPA Members may nominate another Full HOPA member for an FHOPA award.
Nominating a Fellow of HOPA
Candidates considered for FHOPA status must be an active member of HOPA for a minimum of 10 years and must be employed for at least 10 years in an oncology related position (10-year HOPA membership may include one (1) year of PGY2, excluding associate and student memberships).
Additional eligibility requirements are detailed in the candidate application and include:
- Sustained contributions to HOPA
- Sustained practice contributions to the field of hematology/oncology pharmacy
- Contributions to original research
- Participation in volunteer service and/or philanthropic activities
- Nomination by two Full HOPA Members
Selection Process
The HOPA Recognition Committee performs a comprehensive evaluation of service to HOPA as well as practice and research accomplishments of each candidate based on information submitted in the application.

Each year, the new class of Fellows receives their FHOPA Award during the President's Address at the HOPA Annual Conference.
